Description
Over the courtyard of the Librije’s Hotel in Zwolle Poly-Ned realised  a cover / tensioned structure. The square is thus functional throughout the year.
The unique feature of this structure is that it can be easily (de)mounted. The structure can be tensioned with the help of an impressive hydraulic cylinder (length 8 m!), which is sunk a centrally placed ornament. In this ornament, the whole structure, membrane and liners, are stored.

The historic building – the former women’s prison in Zwolle – which Jonnie and Therese Boer have established their Librije Hotel.
